Judy Savinar studied creative writing at the University of Colorado and worked as an advertising copywriter before becoming a frazzled middle school librarian. She lives in Portland, Oregon where she enjoys writing, reading, running, and visiting sons on opposite coastlines, as well as spending time with her husband Dan, and tranquil dog, Penny.
